Francesca was inspired by the drama, sophistication and humor Sophia Loren always exuded in comedic roles- being a bit cheeky, flirty and fun. This character came to life in a bright red 1970s inspired mini dress, suede vintage Ferragamo bag, and bright yellow bangles to offset the cloudy San Franciscan skies.
Valentina embraced one of her favorite American actresses- the elegant Faye Dunaway – and her strong, yet feminine look from the 1960s. The clean and slightly formal pairing of the dress and blazer were accompanied by a soft leather, bright purple color-block clutch and a care-free hairstyle, which are somewhat signature pieces for Valentina. To bring out her inner geek she threw on her reading glasses and embraced a quirky, ladylike push and pull of opposites – creating a tension via color, pattern and preconceived connotations. Familiar, but edgy…quite the naughty librarian gone wild!
